Nationwide Effort Brings Economics to New Classrooms in Bosnia & Herzegovina

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Liberalni Forum team is expanding access to economics education through nationwide lectures supporting the Economics Olympiad, alongside the launch of the Common Sense Economics book. Around 130 students participated in person, with additional students and teachers from 55 schools joining online, supported by leading institutions including the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo, the Central Bank, Visa, and Raiffeisen.

For many students, the BHS edition of Common Sense Economics marks their first meaningful exposure to economics and is set to be a game-changer. Combined with new university admission incentives, the initiative is helping spark stronger student interest while widening access for first-time learners.
